| Application |
| The MicroCLAVE® Needle-Free Connector is an injection port activated without needles for IV applications. It can be used for aspiration as well as for the infusion of fluids on demand. |

| Flow Path |
| The MicroCLAVE® design ensures an internal flow, in which the liquids that pass through the connector never come into contact with any component exposed to the environment, creating a closed system, mechanically as well as microbiologically. |

| Displacement |
| When disconnecting the syringe or IV system from the MicroCLAVE®, the connector ensures that blood does not enter into the catheter, thus avoiding the formation of clots and having to change catheters. |
