Victus Inc. continues it commitment to the training and continuing education of Health Care Professionals throughout LATAM and has successfully concluded its 1^st Course “Update on Vascular Access Care”.

The use of vascular access is increasingly common not only for short-term treatments, but also in chronic and long-term treatments.  Vascular access care has become even more prevalent with the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic and effects our health care institutions, patients, and professionals.

The professors for this course were, Lic. Teresa Vergara and Elena Véliz of Chile.  Both are registered nurses specialized in infection control, university professors, active members of several professional societies and associations, they have several published articles in both local and international scientific journals. The objective of the course was provide the participants with the latest trends with regards to vascular access techniques, medical devices, and biosafety.
